The court of Baxi Manresa, complicated test for the Valencia Basket streak in Liga Endesa

Valencia Basket closes the with its third game (the fifth meeting in ten days) trying to extend its good dynamics of three Endesa League wins in a row visiting the court of Baxi Manresa (Sunday 22, 12:30h, Nou Congost, Movistar Deportes). In a key duel to consolidate in the positions that give access to the Copa del Rey, the Taronja team arrives in Manresa with the endorsement of being the fifth best attack and the fourth best defense. And that of having won in seven of its last nine visits. Although not forgetting the warning that last season lost in Manresa 75-66.

 

Without Rafa Martínez in the roster taronja for the first time since 2008, the close relationship between the technicians of both technical staffs puts the crossroads in this game. Valencia Basket faces this game with 11 professional players as it has the casualties due to injury of Guillem Vives (left leg) and Fernando San Emeterio (right ankle sprain).

 

And although Joan Sastre is recovering from the last Euroleague game, the minimum rules of locally trained players in a squad of twelve prevent Valencia Basket from activating Motum and deactivating the injured San Emeterio, so the Australian power forward has not traveled to Manresa either. Valencia Basket currently occupies the fifth position of the Endesa League, with a balance of 7-6.
